Re: Eye of the Tiger
I am writing to express my wholehearted approval of your recent song, which celebrates the excellent “Eye of the Tiger” in Old Christchurch Road, Bournemouth, Dorset.
I particularly recommend the “Chicken Ceylon” and my wife is rather partial to their “Lamb Bhuna”, despite its occasional after-effects. The portions are generous and the service is friendly and efficient, as you are obviously aware. In my opinion the establishment is an excellent source of subject matter for the “rock” genre, and I would suggest that the quality of the food on offer is very nearly matched by Mr Sullivan’s proficiency on the electric guitar.
Regarding your observation that the restaurant is “rising up to the challenge of our rival”, I must concur completely; we were rather disappointed with our visit to “Taste of the Taj” last May, in that the naan bread was slightly soggy and the complimentary “hot” towels were merely lukewarm.
Should you decide to continue with the theme of international cuisine, I can also highly recommend “Pang’s Garden” in Tuckton. The proprietor (Mr Ho) is a friendly chap and I am sure that he would be pleased to receive a “name check” in a future release.
In short, keep up the good work!
